Pokémon GO 2018 Events Coming This Summer
Hello Trainers! There is a bunch of awesome stuff coming up in the Pokémon GO world. A ton of exciting Pokémon GO 2018 events are coming this summer, so you better mark your calendars now.
Get ready for the Pokémon GO Summer Tour 2018! Exclusive events will be taking place across the globe this summer. Pokémon GO Safari Zones are making a come back as well as Pokémon GO Fest!
That’s Right! Pokémon GO Fest Is Coming Back!
Pokémon GO Fest 2018 will take place in Chicago, IL at the city’s historic Lincoln Park. Pokémon GO Fest 2018 will take place over the span of a weekend, instead of just one day. You can come and join the fun on Saturday July 14th or Sunday July 15th.
The event will consist of a 1.8-mile walking course that will feature a variety of Pokémon habitats. While you enjoy your walk through the park, you will encounter many different Pokémon that live in each habitat.
Unfortunately, if you buy tickets to both days, you will only be able to encounter Pokémon that appear on the first day of the event. When you go on the second day, you will be unable to catch Pokémon within the park. So don’t buy tickets to both days, or you will just waste your time. This is probably done on purpose, so more people get a chance to purchase tickets.
During your adventure, you will be able to enjoy a bunch of exclusive activities for Trainers of all ages. There will be something for everyone to enjoy at Pokémon GO Fest 2018.
There will also be some Special Research tasks that will lead to some exciting new rewards. When you need a break from your adventures, you can relax in the special team lounges and maybe even make some new friends.
Tickets are now on sale, but they seem to have sold out super fast. They were going for $20 a piece, which isn’t bad. You may be able to find some resale tickets, but they will probably cost you an arm and a leg. Just use your best judgment when trying to snag some resale tickets to Pokémon GO Fest 2018.
If you can’t make it to Chicago for the event, don’t worry as you can still participate. Similar to the Pokémon GO Fest last year, trainers all over the world will be able to work together towards common goals to unlock other challenges and great rewards.
Not much is known about the details of these challenges and rewards just yet. As we get closer to the event, more information will be released. So stay tuned for how you can partake in all the exciting challenges of Pokémon Go Fest 2018!
The first Pokémon GO Fest was a complete disaster, but I feel that Niantic and the Pokémon Company have learned from that experience and will use that to make this years event much better. I will keep my fingers crossed that this thing goes off without a hitch, since we don’t want anymore upset Pokémon Trainers ready to riot. I can’t wait to see how it all turns out.
Pokémon GO Safari Zones Are Back In Action This Summer!
If you are a trainer residing in Europe then mark you calendars for the new Safari Zone events. Get ready for an exciting Pokémon GO Safari Zone event taking place in Dortmund, Germany.
This event will take place from June 30th to July 1st in Westfalenpark. Westfalenpark is one of the largest inner-city parks in Europe. This beautiful park includes a Japanese garden, elaborate water features and some large playgrounds for kids and families to enjoy.
Come and enjoy the fresh air and stunning scenery while catching lots of different types of Pokémon. The activities included in this Safari Zone event will even expand to Dortmund’s entire city district, allowing trainers outside of the park to participate as well.
Trainers from all over Europe can come and explore the wonders of Dortmund, Germany while playing Pokémon GO. This is a great opportunity to travel to a new place and learn all of the city’s cultural history by taking an adventure with some friends.
All trainers living in Asia will have a special Pokémon GO Safari Zone event as well. This exciting event will take place in Yokosuka, Japan.
A date has not yet been determined, but it will take place later this summer. Similar to the Europe Safari Zone, this one will extend to the entire city district of Yokosuka. So whether you are at the designated spot for the event or just in the district, you will be able to partake in this Safari Zone event.
Stay tuned for more details about these Safari Zone events as we approach the summer months. The good thing is that the Safari Zone events are completely free, so you don’t need to fight other Trainers for tickets.
If you can’t make it to any of these events, don’t forget that there is a Pokémon GO Community Day event every month. The next one is this weekend on Saturday May 19th. You can check out the details here.
